a new laptop

i had the misfortune of spilling a glass of coke all over my laptop yesterday thus ruining it i was wondering if anyone could recommend a brand of laptops(my last one was a HP)/parts and what i could expect to get for around $1500?

Yeah, I'll vouch big time for Dazey. He set me up so fat it's ridiculous. He gave me a workhorse for a great price. PM him, it's worth it.

Man, that stinks that you ruined it. I put drinks near computers all the time, and I'm sure it'll burn me in the butt one of these days. HP's aren't very good anyway.
