How the heck is Ernest Graham only at 38?

The problem with him is that no one knows if he will be the back. The Bucs resigned Bennett and he will steal carries. Also, the Bucs have talked with DeShaun Foster (before he was signed), and now Julian Jones about coming in and being the back here. Dumba$$ doesn't like Graham all that much and does not believe he can be the back here, so I think you will see another guy here fighting with Graham

Yeah, because a guy who has caught at least 87 passes for at least 1274 yards and at least 7 touchdowns every year for the last five years isn't worth the trouble anymore.

If Chad's on the field, then he's at least a top 10 receiver. Period.

I dunno that I blame Chucky for that though. It's not like Graham was a rookie...he'd been "around" a bit, and had never shown that he was much of anything NFL-wise until last year. That's not to say that Earnest can't back up those numbers, but I'm not going to fault them for giving some consideration to the possibility that he won't.

So far as Earnest in fantasy goes, the 10 TDs in '07 were nice, but TDs are fluky, and without that he was a 900 Yards at a straight 4 a pop RB. He's a mid-range RB2 if he stays "the guy" in Tampa, and while I'd have him a bit higher on an "overall" list Funston's first guess (and that's all it is at this point) isn't that far off.
