I like either first or last. I love those double whammy picks. ;-D

this year I like #1.

LT is just head and shoulders above in consistency, reliability, and perormance.

Fortunately for me, I had the worst record the year before Ladainian Tomlinson's rookie year. I picked him first, after 6 keepers from each team. But, traded him later for R. Moss and S. Alexander.

So, I figure... if you make a great pick at #1, then I would definitely take it. But, anything else, you have to figure how many big impact players will their be and go by that.

If you come up with 12 great players, then I wouldn't mind being up to pick 9 in a 10 team league, that way, you would probably get the top WR or QB in the draft.

Actually.. I was looking at some previous years FF magazines... S. Alexander was rated pretty high in all of them. I think he would be a good pick for consistancy. The only problem this year is he has been on the trading block.. but, do you think Seattle will not use him if he is still playing there? I think he wil be more motivated to prove his worth.

Personally I like being towards the middle of the rounds. I like being able to pick someone with the hope you can land another star late in the next. When you have back-to-back's it seems like the entire board was demolished by the time it got back to you. I just don't feel as involved when I pick that late.

every single other year before this one i liked to be around 4th or 5th... there always seemed to be tiers of 4.

Also for the same reasons Davidmarver just listed (when you pick back to back 20-24 players have dissapeared by the time you pick again)

last year the teir was 4: Holmes, LT, Green, and Edge i believe. i figure at 4 you dont have to make a decision. you get whos left in that tier and at 5 you have generally a decent chance that 1 of those guys will slip..... after that there was another tier of about 6-8 RBs making picks 6-12 virtually the same (might as well have 12).

This year though there are 3 tiers... and LT is all alone at the top of his tier. Holmes, Alexander on the next, and Edge, Dillon, Green, Deuce, DD, Rudi, Lewis round out the next tier.....

LT just seems like too good of value that youd want the #1 pick to take him
