Terrell, Brady's go-to-guy???

Postby footballfreak449 » Sat Jun 11, 2005 6:46 pm

Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has appeared comfortable throwing the ball to WR David Terrell and the two have hooked up in the back of the end zone on several plays. Terrell and Brady played together at the University of Michigan. The Patriots are hoping Terrell will give Brady another option in the passing game through the fade pass.

I think the fact they played together in Michigan is huge... The WR is just filled with could-be's... so Terrell fits right in..

Damn, hopefully it doesn't effect Givens and Branch potentially having solid years.

very well could be I got him in 1 league just because they played together in college with good success and the rumor is that Brady wanted him thats why he is now a Patriot. I would guess he will play most of the time. If he isn't the #1 or 2 guy by the end of the year I will be suprised.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

Yeah, trouble is Terrell's fine in a practice uni but his concentration just isn't there come game time. Branch 1, Givens 1A......everyone else.

Terrell still may be worth a last-round flyer.

His value has already been hit with Ben Watson on their roster.

I agree. Terrell seems to like to drop balls when the game is on the line. I'll believe it when I see it.

it has nothing to do with terrell dropping balls. it has everything to do with terrell never putting himself into position to catch a ball.

i tend to think of the pats recievers like i think of the minny RBs. you just never know which one to take, or which one is gonna be the guy. just when i start thinking branch is primed, terrell will most likely throw a wrench in it. ill pass on all these guys unless i get them late.
