Taylor or Davis

Postby JDM20 » Wed Aug 20, 2003 4:03 pm

My draft is this weekend and it looks like I'll get either Williams or LT in the 1st round. Who would you guys choose between fred Taylor and Stephen Davis assuming they are there in round 2?

If it's a 12 team league, Taylor probably won't be there...so you should grab Davis...he could have a big year in Carolina's run first offense.

With the way things are looking in Jacksonville I would go with Davis. With Smith being out they have no legit wr so the pressure will be Fred.

Mudd's right...(and I hate agreeing with a 49er fan :)

I have serious doubts about Fraud this year...he has less weapons on his team than ever before, he's been sitting out with multiple injuries the past few weeks regardless of his claim that he will "play through the pain." Davis on the other hand will probably receive 350 carries and is a primary goal line threat (assuming Carolina makes it near the goal line).

I've moved Davis up above Ahman Green. I just don't think the Packers are going to be running much when they're behind so much. I really like Davis.

I would go with Fred Taylor. He has assured us all that he will play through the bumps and bruises that happen during a NFL season and is going to be the man on his team. Hold on a sec….late breaking news. OK I change my mind and go with Davis, Fraud is sitting out the preseason because she suffered a severe paper cut opening a tampon package. Take Davis, Fragile Freddy is too much of a risk.
