LT2....LDT?

Okay, this is really random, but since LaDanian came into the league, I've called him LDT. It's an original nickname and doesn't need a number after it to qualify it.
Now I see everyone calling him LT2... Did I invent the LDT thing? I kind of doubt it...I feel like people were calling him that before LT2...

If it is something specific to me...does anyone else think it's a better nickname than LT2?

I'm not the biggest fan of 'LT2' either. If this trend continues, things could get a bit confusing when we start arguing whether a player is LT7 or LT8...

(By the way, I got to the bottom of this "LT" thing with Tomlinson -- apparently, Tomlinson asked Lawrence Taylor for permission to use the nickname and Taylor agreed. Well, you know what? I don't care. If LeBron James' name was Mebron, we wouldn't call him MJ, right? So I'm not calling Tomlinson LT. From now on, for the purposes of this column, we're calling him "LDT." And that's that.)

Lame....everyone is SD calls him LT, so I say go with it. LDT is good too for the forum. I think Lawrence Taylor should be honored, IMO!
