New to Fantasy

I am new to doing this, but I had a couple of friends at my last base (U.S. Air Force) who had a great time. Is there a league that I could join just to "get my feet wet"? Please help!

If you join a fantasy league, it's going to be a competetive one. All of them are. It's not really something you need skill for either. You just draft your players and put the best ones in the line up when they have games that day.

There's only 4 guys in the league so far, and it's an ordered draft (meaning that who ever comes in sooner gets a better draft pick). So if you join now, you get an awesome draft pick. Maybe you could get Priest Holmes, T.O, who knows. You should give it a shot.

If you want to just test it out, i would suggest going to yahoo and joining a public league. If you join a custom league, you will get in with guys who do this every year and might be a bit above your level.

Try out one of the free leagues on yahoo. They arent that bad. I do a few of them

I doesn't matter if you join a custom or public league. All the commisioners that create custom leagues publish the league, so that it is one of the choices for a public league. So really, it doesn't make a difference.


And by the way this is my first time creating a league, so I don't do this "every year".

go to fantasysports.yahoo.com, there should be a banner that promotes fantasy football, that says "Rekindle the Rivalries". Click that, and click "Join league". DO NOT click that highlighted "join league" button, click the one under that, in the "free fantasy football" column. The rest is easy.
