Another Warner Question

Postby SeattleFan » Wed Aug 20, 2003 8:41 pm

I'm in a league that drafts team QB's, so you automatically get the backup. Does this raise Warner's stock? If you add up all the Rams QB's numbers last year they would rank second in almost every passing category. Our league sees alot of QB's taken in the first two rounds due to the scoring. When would be a good time to nab him?

I think with both of them you can't go wrong. In fact Top 5 for sure IMHO.

By team QB, do you mean that you are required to draft the backup, or you start a team at QB, and you get the points for whoever plays?

Yes, you get all points from the qb's.

In that case, I would probably put St. Louis at either #1 or #2. The only team that can compare is Philly.

Yes, that would eliminate most of the risk.

As to when you should draft the team qb position, that would depend on a few things. How does your league score for rbs? How many people are in your draft? What is your draft position?

If the top 5 or 6 RBs are gone, it might be worth a 1st round pick.

There is a much steeper talent drop off from the top at the team qb position than there is at the WR position.
