I'm not thrilled with this move at all from a real football perspective nor a fantasy one. My thinking is, if the youth movement is already on, why not try and get the young receiving corps the reps they need on the field? Fantasywise, this just further muddles the picture. I think this hurts Lloyd more than anyone else though I'm not exactly sure about that yet.

Not a real niners fan, but Id say the signing of him isnt too bad of a move. Could help the tam, although he wont be a fantasy producer..

Lloyd will produce better numbers of the 2. They need some one that teams will some what "respect" and account for otherwise it'll be a long season again.

I still think that the Niners should have went after Koren Robinson or David Boston. I know the history of these guys, but you can't deny they have talent. We should have kept Curtis Conway, he and Morton are about the same receiver today.

i agree also,i wanted them to make a move for Rod Gardner considering they were thinking of tradeing TO for him.

I'm pretty sure Gardener would have meerly been a salary throw in during that deal.

I agree, I would have preferred they go with Boston. He's got a big upside with alot to prove. It would have been nice to have a talented, hungry player to come in and play.

even though our young WR core needs some playing time, and we are currently developing them, we have more invested in our young developing QB. Whether or not Rattay or Smith starts this season we want them to feel comfortable. I think Morton adds a little experience that both QB's will find very helpful come game time etc. Get the QB's comfortable first I believe, since last year you really can't say Rattay had any time to do anything, much less find rythm, and build from there. Especially if Smith is the starter.

Confidence IMO is absolutely HUGE in the NFL.
