Please rank the Top 6 RB

explain why you think one will outperform the next...i have the 6th pick, and i can't decide who to take first...here are the 9 i'm considering, ranked in the order i'm (very tentatively) feeling them.

Marshall Faulk - StL the o-line is repaired, warner is on, faulk is healthy

Clinton Portis - Den rejuvenated offense behind the snake, the job belongs to this slick speedster

LaDainian Tomlinson - SD wondering about some of these nicks, but an obvious powerhouse

Ricky Williams - Mia doesn't need a good o-line...but wouldn't it help?

Shaun Alexander - Sea *has* the good o-line, and it will help, especially with hasselbeck, k-ron and d-jack taking off some of the pressure

Priest Holmes - KC healed? supposedly so. they don't get much stronger or tougher than the high priest.

Edgerrin James - Ind again: healed? supposedly so. best hands in the backfield, would be great to see him return to glory. still young!

Travis Henry - Buf fighting for his job/showcasing his strengths for future jobs...did well last year, will do better this year?

Deuce McAllister - NO he's loose, but he can't really catch and with a-brooks' style, that's going to bring down his value a bit.

my final thought is that perhaps, it doesn't matter who will be my first selection...they're all terrific backs, right? close my eyes and plunk down my finger on whichever? might be the best way to do it ;-)

In my opinion, you are in the perfect spot. You get one of the top six backs, don't have to worry about the pick, and get another quick pick on the backside.

My rankings:

LT
Williams
Portis
Faulk
Priest
Alexander

I'm going to be a little different. Here's my list:

LT
Portis
Priest
Williams
Deuce
Alexander

I know I have Ricky a little lower on my list than most, but here's my reasoning. When he runs, he runs with power and gets hit hard by the opposing teams. When Portis and Priest run, they avoid most hard hits and know how to land from tackles. I think that the saying that small backs are more prone to injury is crap. Plus I get this aching feeling that Ricky's going to go down this year, but damn, what a year last year.

LT
Williams
McAllister
Portis
Faulk
Henry

McAllister is an excellent receiver out of the backfield and last years had three TD's of over 50yds called back on penalties. In most drafts he is a steal at #6

Sorry, but Faulk is just too much of a risk.
