Well i have thought long and hard about this and what does everyone see his production at. I have heard rumors about Faulk takeing his carries or they wanting to use Faulk more in the 4thq and closer to the playoffs. So with that what kind of numbers should i look at him gettin. Will he be a stud or will it be too much RBBC.

He'll be a stud, but as long as Martz is there, Faulk will get some carries. Look for 15-20 carries per game IMO, as they still run a vertical passing offense.

As long as Martz is there, you can't count on him even calling 10 running plays all game. Faulk will see use unless injured, and I think Jackson will be a beast, but not until next year. He'll be top 20 this year.

I don't see how Steven Jackson can be anything worse than a decent #2 RB this coming season. But he does have the potential to be a solid #1 RB for your team if everything works out right. I have him right behind Bell in the "guy most likely to break into the top5 out of nowhere" category.

I still think he has too many negatives to draft him as anything other than a #3 RB this yr.

- Extreme Pass heavy offense will take away carries.
- Faulk is still hanging around and will take carries from SJax
- SJax' recent knee surgeries make me skeptical

Two words: Mike Martz.

This guy has done more to flush Marshall Faulk's legacy down the drain than any injury could ever do. If anything takes SJ down, it'll be "The Genius".

i dont see how you guys can even think about taking this guy in the 3rd round!! Hes a BACKUP!! Mike Martz is his coach. Marshal faulk is better than him!! all these reasons seem to say that he should be drafted as a 4 rb or as a flyer in the mid to late rounds imo.
