McNabb better than Culpepper?

ok, again -- write this off to homerism.

But you do realize that for all practical purposes, the eagles swept the nfc last year? Yes, they lost to st. louis, but they played the "c" team.

Im not all that convinced that the rest of the nfc got significantly better. Remember, there is a different between "narrowing" a gap and closing it. And for all intents and purposes, the eagles have two first rounders this year (andrews who only played a half). And given how early their second rounder was, you could make the argument that it is three. Eagles are loaded right now. Yea, the Giants got plaxico. They still have a green qb throwing.

Dallas got better. But what does that mean? That they lose still, but the score is closer? They still should go 6-2, maybe 5-1 in the divsision, as none of those teams really shared the same field with them, except for two halves (cowboys, skins) at whcih point, reid was already starting to go plain vanilla. They pretty much crushed the nfc last year. and they sure as hell got better in the off-season.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
