Great to see someone touting Cedric Houston. Now, I may be a bit biased since I went to high school with him, but I think he could become a feature back in the league within two or three years. What people don't know about him is that he went to a small-classification high school (AA Clarendon High in Clarendon, Arkansas; An aside: I wonder how many feature backs in the NFL now came from small high schools? Can't be too many). Truly a man among boys.
Granted, the level of competition he faced wasn't the greatest, but in '98, he had the single most amazing game I've ever seen an athlete on any level have:
12 carries, 408 yards, 8 TDs. He had at least three TD runs of 60+ yards called back because of holding penalties.
I don't think he was ever given a fair shake at Tennessee, especially when Riggs entered the picture. By all acounts, he's not necessarily injury-prone, merely unlucky. However, I think he has what it takes to succeed on this level.
