Injury is all better, he was back and practicing with the team.
As for position, Del Rio has stated that he will use him in the WR capacity this season. He feels he needs to let Jones grow into the TE position and won't force it this year.

BTW - how has Reggie Williams looked too?
Supposedly, according to Del Rio, Williams and Lefty have been working out all offseason and have some very good timing. I think he could contribute mightily to the offense.

With 4.37 speed in the 40, a 39.5" vertical leap, (at 242#'s no less) and 10" hands Jone could be very dangerous to opposing D's this year. I'll be spending a late round pick on him in my league as a possible keeper in the future.
williams, in a few years, imo will be an elite wr. he's young, fast and somewhat tall. this year, he'll be good, not great, but good. give him time del rio, give him time.
