These points are added to the team defense instead of to the player? Do I have that right?
So if you take say Atlanta's D, then you get your standard defensive scoring plus 1 for 50 for every 50 yards Atlanta ends up returning the ball over the course of the game, regardless of who the return man is?
If this is the case, then I gotta think that 1 for 50 sounds about right.... You figure 250 return yards is pretty huge over the course of a game, and that's only 5 points.... If you make it any less, it become somewhat meaningless....
I mean at 1 for 100, there are very few times that this is really going to come into play.... Which kind of kills the fun of having return yards....
