Quick Photoshop Question

ok, i made a sig for someon, and its file size was fine, the dimensions were fine, but it sed that it needed to be a jpeg, gif, etc. when the guy put it in his sig, but i saved it as a jpg please help.

Whenever your going to save a file always go to file and save for web. If you save it that way then everything should work out fine.

i did that, the guy hasnt responded yet, i just hosted it on geocities instead of photobucket. it should be fine now.
