The Beef on Boerighter...

Postby Warpigs » Fri Aug 22, 2003 9:59 am

OK. Snagged up Boerighter off waivers and was wondering what the word was now on whether Boerighter was going to be a worthwhile starter anytime soon. I've never been impressed with Morton or Kennison and Boerighter showed some definite skills the end of last season and even in the preseason this year. Any chance he takes over as No. 1 or 2 receiver for the Chiefs? Under Yahoo's suggested starter link in my league, they project Boerighter to score more than players like David Boston and Chad Johnson in week one! Is he going to be that good at some point???

Yes he will be. You did great. He is already the #2 receiver and him and Trent Green are building something great. He is big, fast and has great hands. McCaffrey in his prime. Hold on to that one.

Yeah, and ya gotta love that signature touchdown celebration. Everybody else goes crazy and does some weird dance, his is original (probably not 100% original, but I like it).

And he's cool cuz he played in the CFL.

I like the guy and he has looked good, excellent pick-up...but don't bet the farm on him just yet...right now he is a 4th fantasy option at best.Bye week guy until he proves otherwise.

Boerigter is still listed behind Morton on the depth chart......but I expect him to see significant playing time. He had a catch in a preseason game a week or so ago and turned on the jets and left the secondary in the dust. STUD!
