I wish I knew why women stay with those types. I've thought about it many different times, and can't fathom a reason for them to stay with an abusive spouse. Fear of being alone? Low self-esteem? Don't know/have anyplace to go? Don't want to leave the children? Frightened out of their mind of the evil bastard they are with?

Pretty much the same thing that happened last time. She called the police and then said nothing happened. They went to counceling and everything was supposed to be "fixed".
