where do you think he'll be next season? will he be starting in tennessee, somewhere else, or be forever relegated to backup duty? i am probably going to have to cut marc bulger next year in a dynasty league because his cap # is too high and am wondering if maybe billy volek will be able to step up, because other than him, campbell is probably the only other qb i'll keep for the 06 season (i'm not gonna be able to trade for c-pep, mcnabb and trent green and way underpriced so they won't be traded, and another guy has a monopoly on qb's with palmer, carr, and p manning and is asking much more than carr and palmer are worth)

i think it comes down to McNair. If McNair can stay healthy this season, Volek will be let go, and the Titans will draft a frnachise QB. I think given his past performances, that if he plays most of this year, the Titans will reward him with a long term deal (think Jake Delhomme style).

Viva La Volek!

This guy is a major sleeper. The question with Mcnair is not if but when he will go down. He should've retired and saved fantasy leaguers 16 weeks of headaches. I had Volek last year but I never played him when I should have. If I did I would've made the playoffs in my league. I know Drew Bennett would become a lot more valuable if Volek were the starting QB. When he gets the chance to play this year he will get what he deserves-a big $$$ contract with the Titans or another team.

Up until last year McNair was a horse who played through numerous injuries. I wouldn't be surprised to see Volek holding the clipboard all season.

I think in the Titans perfect world, they'd like McNair to play another 4-5 years, which is in line with most superstar qb's. IF Chow's offense can keep McNair healthy, that will likely happen.

But it's way too early to tell. If McNair has another bad, bad injury season, he may retire, which would give Volek the opportunity.

I'd bet though, that McNair will stay and the Titans will trade Volek.
