Chris Brown, RB - Titans

Brown recently told the NFL Network his broken hand has healed and he'll be ready for training camp.
Fantasy Source spin: We kind of expected that, but it's still good to hear from him. Brown is a breakout candidate -- with a track record of injuries.

The spot Brown is being drafted is pretty low for the production you could get out of him. He would be a huge deal of a 3rd RB if he stays healthy.... here's hoping for us Titan's fans.

And I expect the term GTD (Game Time Decision) to be next to his name alot this year too.

Brown is one of the most feast or famine backs in the league. He will put up a game full of stats by half one week and miss the next because of a turf toe or some other malady. If he stays healthy so will his owners chances of winning big.

In mocks I've been getting him at the end of the 4th and beginning of the 5th. I'll take that all day. Especially if I've taken Moss or T.O. and am short on rb's by then. Which I'm becoming more and more convinced is the way to go.

ive gambled on him in 3 different leagues this year. im willing to take the risk for as late as he is dropping. im more concerned with henry this point than injuries. another concern is the fact that the titans have such a horrible D that they will most likely be abandoning the run fairly early. to me though...it worth the risk for the talent he brings. i think he has a pretty high ceiling.

Tenn really wants Brown to be there #1. In there eyes, they do not want another back to compete with him. They would like to get another A. Smith out there to supplement Brown. This is also great news for Brown.

I think you are dismissing Turf Toe as a silly stupid injury. Had he pulled a hammy or broken a bone people wouldn't view him as fragile. Turf toe is not an injury that was caused by his "upright running style" and is apparently an extremely painful injury.
