THE LEAGUE IS NOW FULL



This NEW league is composed of a core of dedicated owners from other fantasy leagues I have been a part of in the past (and currently). There also are a few owners recruited here at the Fantasy Football Cafe.

It is a league where each year we hold a college draft (where players drafted are assigned a certain salary depending on what pick they were selected at....just like in the NFL). We then will have an auction draft. All the drafting is done on a proboards website and it is a slow online draft. Meaning, teams visit the site at least once a day and bid on players. Once a bid stands as the high bid for 24 hours that player is "won" by that team.

Once the draft is over then teams are allowed to sign their players to contracts. Teams are allowed to have up to two players signed to 4-year deals, up to three players signed to 3-year deals and an unlimited amount of players signed to two year deals and one year deals.

Teams can put "insurance" on their players as well.

In the offseason there are league MVP awards and Fantasy Bowl awards (like the pro bowl) along with other just for fun awards. Also, in the offseasons one player can be taken to Arbitration. Also, each team has a Franchise Tag available to them to use.

So, as you can see, it is a GM (general manager) keeper league.

We may still have an opening. HOwever, sorry Hornguy, this is not your fault. I should have said this. We are only accepting people who have at least 100 posts (roughly) and who have been a cafe member since November 2004.

We still have an opening. This is a great group of guys (and one girl) who really enjoy fantasy sports. We are aiming to start up the college draft on July 20th, which is just a few days away. We just need that 12th active owner. Are you that potential owner?
