Ludacris Trade Offer?? Opinions Please.......

Postby joemomma » Wed Sep 25, 2002 12:21 pm

I have been offered the following players:

Charlie Garner
Quadry Ismail

He wants:

Curtis Martin
Eric Moulds
Donte Stallworth

Here is my teams depth at those positions:
RB:
Ricky Williams
Michael Pittman
Curtis Martin

WR:
Chris Chambers
Eric Moulds
Donte Stallworth
Deion Branch

Moulds and Chambers are my 1 and 2 receivers. I picked up Martin off of Waivers, some guy dropped him after week 1. He really has not done much yet, but I have hope. We start 2 RB and 2 WR.

The guy offering this thinks that Garner is the best thing since sliced bread. He is weak at WR so that is why he wants Moulds/Stallworth. His team is 0-3.

My team is so far 2-1 and would have been 3-0 if Garcia had not been puking last sunday. I am comfortable with my team but am a little weak at RB.

Your opinoin is appreciated. Thanks!!

dont do this trade, garner would be nice right now, but in the long run you will be better off not doing this

dont do the trade youd be giving up way to much depth at WR for what youd be getting. IMO youd regret it later in the season

3 for 2 or 2 for 1 deals usually benefit the owner recieving the extra player, this is the case here. This may be the time to shop Martin around but don't get rid of Moulds & Stallworth. This trade offer gets a resounding :-t !!!

NO WAY!

i disagree with gutpuppy. 3 for 2 or 3 for 1 deals are most often better for the person resceiving less players. as a rule, trading quality for quantity isnt a great idea. of course there are exceptions, but in this deal u would be getting less and worse players.
