Law agrees in principle w/ KC

Postby Flux » Fri Jul 15, 2005 1:25 pm

610 Sports Radio in Kansas City reports that Ty Law has agreed in principle to terms with the Chiefs, pending a physical.

Kansas City's 610 Sports reporter Rhonda Moss reports the deal is finalized, but Law appeared on another Kansas City station just yesterday saying the Chiefs were only one option. Don't consider this a done deal yet, but it looks likely that Law will sign with the Chiefs or Jets shortly. Jul. 15 - 11:24 am et

If this truly does go through, their DBs are looking very good w/ Law, Surtain, and Ambrose. This D is going to be much improved this year

This is a smart move if they can get it done. Law, Surtain, Bell, and Johnson will had a lot of value to that defense. The only thing they'd truly be missing is a good pass rush, but all they need is an average defense with their offense.

The Chiefs are definitely making the right moves. It used to be that you'd start anyone against the Chiefs...but now, it's going to be a tougher choice!!! 8-o

Even though the AFC West offenses seem to have gotten stronger, so have the defenses as well. I have a feeling that's going to be a very heated division this year. :-)

Carlos Hall? Plus Eric Hicks is decent and Jared Allen is good.

Wouldnt health and $ be a big part of determining how good a signing this is?
