Totally off topic...user classifications

My advice is to make mindless rapid posts that insult people.

When you get a very large amount of posts, you can call people "n00bs" or "newbs" and tell them to make you a "sammich." When you have lots of posts, you can belittle people in various ways.

My favorite is the team rating insults. Ask if they drafted their team or if they let an inbred monkey smash the keyboard. If someone questions you, say that you have an Excel spreadsheet that proves you correct ("My Excel spreadsheet says that Kerry Collins will throw 60TDs this year...you are not as smart as Excel."

I hope you can use these tips!

At least a cheerleader is always on the field.

Then in a month or two you can glance over there and see something has changed, not because you posted alot, but because you posted well.

That goes without saying...the one reason I think this is the best site out there for advice is because of the postings. My reason for this post was just out of curiousity... and hatred for being called a cheerleader! :-t

I agree that it doesn't really matter; I am very new here (actually first started visiting the baseball site by accident) and was ecstatic that there was one for football (I am a former Fanball forum guy). That classification is more of an indication of your time spent here, not necessarily your expertise (although they do seem to go hand in hand based on the postings from the long-timers here). ;-D

Looking forward to being an active part of the group; hope my advice helps others.

I would never take advice from a guy with the word "soccer" in his name.

I think the amount of posts is important. Just not as important as the quality. I like to look back on the threads I post in to see if anyone has responded to me.

I have been with the Cafe for a long time, but until recently didn't offer my advice much.

I would like to be more active and have been. But for the most part, the amount of posts is more a reflection of being in the Cafe all day as opposed to having 1,236 quality posts. Anyone can post nonsense just to make the number grow.

I sat on 100 posts since August of 2003... Then over the past 2-3 weeks I have added 200. But I'd like to think most of mine have been well received by the Cafe.

Rumor has it that if you exceed 30 posts per day, you become Administrator. How else do you think Arlo got it?! :-b

You better start posting now!

Then why isn't Madison an Admin? He has like 45 posts per day at the FBC. The dude is a machine.

In fact, I think I'll put the thread I just linked in the Cafe FAQ Forum. :-)
