More than likely agreed...this coming from a Ninters fan. :,-(

I am hoping the defense at least keeps us close in some games, still there will be problems with them being on the field for markedly more minutes than the offense each game.

Hopefully we'll do like Marvin Lewis is doing with the Bengals. Steady improvement will be fine with me, and with the NFC seemingly a little weaker than the AFC, the progress may be a little more rapid, which would be good for us fans. :-° ;-D

I think the team is a fantasy wasteland for this year with the exceptions of Barlow and EJ.

What, no love for Brandon Lloyd, as a possible 3rd year breakout WR???????? I know, I know, who's going to throw him the ball, right?

No, it's not really a matter of who will throw him the ball at all. Lloyd hasn't yet mastered the ability to get off the line of scrimmage cleanly and until he does, his route running and timing with the QB is going to be affected. The other big thing is the Morton signing. He plays the same position as Lloyd. I'm not saying that he's going to be the starter, but I would expect him to cut into Lloyd's time a bit.
