But for kickers it doesn't really matter. After the top tier made up of something like Vinatieri, Akers, Elam, and Vanderjagt, it's all a wash.
Vandy actually finished 6th last season in standard Yahoo scoring, I wouldn't be surprised if he repeats that. 2 things went against him though, that injury and an offense that puts it into the endzone rather than having FG opportunities. I think the running game gets better this year and they remain about where they are in punching in TDs.
I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me.

Really IMO after Akers it's all pretty much a wash.
I know they're just kickers, but everybody still has to draft one. The truth be told, the difference in my projections for the first and 15th kickers is only 13 pts...............
i was the second to last team to grab a kicker in my 12 team league and I got Jeff Wilkins. I'm satisfied with that. While I've had Vinatieri on past teams (and i'd rather have him this year too), but I do like to have a kicker who kicks indoors.
Remember, even Adam V. isn't a lock. He had great years in '02 and '04, but bad years in '01 and '03. Of course, '01 is still considered a great year for him b/c of his clutch postseason kicks, but in terms of fantasy points, he was below average in the regular season.
of course, after his bad '03 season, the Pats disclosed a back injury that he had been hiding, which seems to be a non issue.
