Shaud Williams

I just wanted to gauge what everyone (or anyone I suppose) thought of the caliber/potential of Shaud Williams. Williams was the 3rd string running back in Buffalo prior to Travis Henry getting traded. Now, he appears to be the backup to McGahee. With McGahee's potential injury as well as him just being the new back up in Buffalo, where, if at all, do you see him going?

Right now, I think his only use is in deep leagues or dynasty, but nobody has talked about him since the Henry trade and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

No one has really been talking about Buffalo at all since the trade. They are not the hot gossip.

I think Williams is a definate hand cuff mate if you have McGahee. I think he mighy be a middle of the road RB, when comparing all of the # 2's in the league.

He played very well last year when given the chance. I think Buffalo feels really comfortable with him if Willis goes down. Deeper leagues, teams with large benches, or big money leagues as Willis' handcuff is about all though.

You might want to keep an eye on Reshard Lee as he has a chance to become #2. At this point I would say Williams has the advantage though.

I've heard the same thing that Williams isn't guaranteed the #2 spot there. Sounds like they are going to wait and see how camp turns out.
