For my money, this signals the end of Theismann and Maguire. I'm sure Michaels made it clear to ESPN that he didn't want to share the booth those two pieces of Samsonite. And to that, I say, Hooray. Hooray, indeed.

I could not stand Maguire, guy was far too annoying to enjoy the broadcast. Glad hes gone, Im not a huge Al Micheal's fan but if it means getting rid of Maguire then I am happy.

I was not referring to them as a tandem. I meant the pair was the worst the NFL could offer. And we are stuck with them, week in, week out. One on ESPN, one on Fox.

Way to go espn for finding some new fresh talent to plug into your booth. You clowns are truely followers instead of leaders in sports. Couldn't you talk Berman into doing sideline crap so we could hear his new stuff: "and now back, back, back, back, back to you, Al".

I wonder how long before Al Michaels tries to have Theisman replaced? Seems to me that there isn't enough air in the booth for both egos, and Al doesn't like to share.
