When Jonathan Wells is listed as "day-to-day," you have to wonder if the Texans are talking about his turf toe or trying to tell him something. Like the old saying goes, You can't make the club from the tub. As we speak, Wells is treading water in his attempt to be there on opening day in Miami. And he's doing his treading in an ice bath, with a bad toe -- not a good combination.
