12 teams - I'm a stay-at-home Mr Mom and with only 1 game a week, 12 is easy (I also do MLB, NHL, and NBA but no more than 4 each of those due to the number of games/week).
Some say if ya have too many teams ya don't know which of your fantasy players to cheer for - I say that with so many teams and so many players, any game will have someone for me to root for so every game is interesting from a fantasy standpoint (and ya don't have to stay tuned to a stinker 'cause ya have someone in that game 'cause every other game has someone you own in it too - or for that matter, if forced to watch a stinker 'cause it's the only game on, at least ya usually have someone from one of your teams in it to make it bearable).

I'm in three leagues right now (1 redraft, 2 keepers), but I plan on joining a fourth if/when the opportunity presents itself.

I'm in 4 leagues, 2 yahoo teams (1 random, 1 with friends) 1 Espn team (friends/family) and my huge $$ league!!

5 leagues for me this year 4 yahoo the limit. Then at my school s survival pick then for playoffs you draw a division out of a hat and hope that divisioon wins. So 6 if you count drawing out of a hat.
