Clearly frustrated with the lack of progress in contract negotiations between his team and first-round pick Roddy White, Falcons head coach Jim Mora sent the rookie wide receiver a message through the media on Tuesday. "I might have overstated the fact that we feel Roddy could be a starter," Mora told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "We feel like he has the physical ability to be a starter. But it's hard to start as a rookie, very, very hard. The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. Every day that Roddy misses now, the chance of (him starting) becomes less and less." The Falcons selected White with the No. 27 overall pick.
