Will Tiki Barber lose goal line carries?

Just to answer your question...

Yes. Barber likely will lose some carries at the goal line to Jacobs. Unless he proves he can't do it. I wouldn't shy too much away from Barber IF he is the best RB on the board when you are ready to draft a RB.

His age is more of a concern to me than his goal line carry ratio.

of course Tiki WILL LOSE goalline carries! they didn't draft Brandon Jacobs, at his size and weight, to sit on the sidelines! heck, they had Ron Dayne to do that! lol

as NY Giants season ticket holder, I can tell you the first thing Coughlin wants is a RB to use like he did with Stacey Mack, when he coached in Jax..Jacobs will be the goalline back, the 3rd-and-short back, and so forth. Early word from minicamp is that coaches are raving about him. Jacobs is also saying he knows his role, and wants to be known as the 3rd-and-short RB, the goalline battering ram..hes a perfect fit for this offense..

Expect a droppoff in Barber's TDs, but his yardage should remain the same, they will convert more third downs this year, he'll get more chances...

Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.
