Gardner to the Panthers

Sorry no link, just heard it on Sportscenter. Skins trade Rod Gardner to the Panthers for an undisclosed draft pick.

Ouch to Smith and Colbert.

3rd WR for the Panthers. Gardner is no better than JJ Stokes in his prime (if Stokes had a prime). I think it means very little to Smith and it remains to be seen if it does anything to Colbert.

Same here, i got on to post it but i was too late. Should hurt Colbert's value more than Smith's.

awesome....gotta target Delhomme in the draft now...he's one of the leftover QBs that people tend to draft as backups in most of the mocks i've been in....

Gardner seems like he has all the tools to be a good reciever. He's a nice big target and always seems to have those 2 td games from time to time.

Ouch somewhat to Colbert. Garnder will be a very nice pickup for the Panthers. He will probably be no more than their slot WR though. If anything this really raises the value of Smith, since it now gives the WR corps some more credibility.

This is Rod Garnder were talking about, not Randy Moss.... This guy sucks, and will prolly be no better than there 3rd wide receiver. I definately dont move Delhomme up in my rankings because of this, thats for sure.

From a different perspective, this should all but sew up the 1 and 2 spot in WASH to Moss/Patten now. This may end up being an underrated tandem if Ramsey shows signs of life and these guys can usually be had for a plug nickel.
