Thought I'd name some of my favourite alternative songs, some classic, some hardcore, and abit of stuff that could be classified as "unclassified" that you more than likely don't have.

My favourite bands for the most part echo yours, but "Cocaine Cowgirl" is y favourite song that isn't from one of the bands you already named as one of your favourites. Hope I helped out for another trip ;-D

I'm very disappointed in you. I don't see Silvertide anywhere. :-t

Do go hating Flocks ;-) Silvertide is my fav band, followed closely by RATM. I knew you already had most of their songs on your ipod though, or at least I hope you do :-o I just wanted to name some of the things you wouldn't already have ;-D

Some stuff I just got this past weekend that I am liking so far:

Theory of a Dead Man - Gasoline
Hoobastank - The Reason (I love the name of this band for some reason)

In the heavier stuff - Disturbed is pretty good...

Classic stuff - any AC/DC or Iron Maiden (in both cases live stuff is really good), Zepellin, Ozzy, and Styx are all up there on my list...

I don't get the appeal of a lot of these new "punk" bands. I can't stand their 'teenage-angst' music... and all of their vocalists seem to sound prepubescent. Maybe I'm just getting old or something (but dammit, I'm only 20 years old!), but I can't stand 'em.

It was before Cheer Up! came out. They were an opener for the Fish, and they ended up becoming famous because of that. Then the Fish ended up becoming an opener for Sum 41 a year later.

Californication
Suck My Kiss
Give It Away
Otherside

There are a bunch more awesomeones, but those are my personal favorites. I also have this kick-ass bass solo by Flea. Its godly.

"What is Love" by Haddaway. Then while your pumping it out, you can all bob your heads. Trust me, when you pull up to someone at a stoplight, it'll be classic
