I'm sorry, but after all of this time and he's still not right, I say it's over. It's an unfortunate story, because I've always been a fan of his talent. I actually do have his jersey and always wore it underneath my CJ jerseyback in the 2003 season, where I could lift up the Chad jersey enough to represent the Warrick #80 to represent when he scored or made a huge play( which was fairly often). I may be over-reacting, but I think Warrick's chances are very slim to make this team, especially with the mega-talented Chris Henry waiting in the wings to be the next Bengals' stud WR. For those who don't know the whole story; he had a surgery and during the rehab, suffered an infection that has rumored to be a problem that won't ever go away. There has been talk that he could never be able to play again. Here's wishing P-dub the best, but I don't see him making the Bengals' roster this year.
Warrick said he won't practice right away on his injured knee, a keen disappointment for both him and the club. But he said it was a mutual decision and even though he said he's not certain when he can return, he said, "I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm straight."
Bengals coaches are losing patience with Peter Warrick's knee problems. Asked how the Bengals would fill Warrick's void, Lewis said, ''I didn't notice any void.'' He's right. With Kelley Washington and Chris Henry impressing, the Bengals are very deep at wideout. Warrick needs to prove himself healthy to make the team. Jul. 31 - 3:53 pm et Source: Bengals.com

ouch.
Looks as if the nail is being driven further in the coffin. As much as I have always liked Pdub, I don't think it hinders the offense all that much without him.
K. Washington apparently is also having a really good offseason so far, which means if push comes to shove between him and pdub, it looks like pdub is going to be the one on the short end of the stick.
With the signing of Tab Parry and Chris Henry also, it just looks like there isnt any room left for Warrick. Its a shame too, he is a great fit for the slot.
As ive said in a bunch of other posts, im hoping that C. Henry wins the #3 WR, even though he isnt a slot type guy, he should learn well from it.
