What's your gas price?

Yes, living just outside of Georgia on the South Carolina border, I have seen live footage from helicopters showing $5+ per gallon in the Atlanta area. All pipelines to Altanta have been shut down, so the gas is in short supply. Here in my town most of the gas stations are out of gas, and it's a little over $3 a gallon. The reports that I've heard are saying that gas stations are raising it so high to discourage people from buying gas so they can replenish their supply somewhat.

Sucks for all the rednecks around here with trucks that get 5 mpg. !+)

Okay, I guess I could be wrong. Highest average doesn't mean some scumbag won't try to gouge you in times of crisis. Americans that do that to other Americans should be deported to Canada. :-b I did see on the news this morning a video taken at a gas station in Georgia showing the sign....at right about $6 a gallon. I hope someone blows up that mother*%&^#*% piece of $&%^# gas station while he's in it.

Like I said earlier, living near Atlanta (about 2 1/2 hours away) the word is that the reason the prices are so high is that they are trying to discourage people from buying gas, so they can replenish their stock of it.

Was at the pumps on Tuesday night with limited funds available so I threw in $20 at $1.07 a litre... Paycheck gets auto-deposited overnight on Wednesday - new price at the pumps Thursday morning? $1.35 a litre :-o :-t
