Yes, living just outside of Georgia on the South Carolina border, I have seen live footage from helicopters showing $5+ per gallon in the Atlanta area. All pipelines to Altanta have been shut down, so the gas is in short supply. Here in my town most of the gas stations are out of gas, and it's a little over $3 a gallon. The reports that I've heard are saying that gas stations are raising it so high to discourage people from buying gas so they can replenish their supply somewhat.
Sucks for all the rednecks around here with trucks that get 5 mpg.
