The MRI has been done, here is the update:
Coach Norv Turner said Tuesday that Porter could miss up to two weeks of training camp due to a strained right hamstring, the Contra Costa Times reports.
An MRI performed Monday night revealed no tears, but a strain. Still, Turner offered his opinion on the injury. "It's going to be a little while," Turner said. "I can't tell you right now, but it could be a couple of weeks. I hate to put a time on that, it's just how he feels. He was sore this morning. He won't do anything until next week for sure. ... A strain is actually technically a tear, it's just not a real serious one. But it's serious enough for him to miss some time." Turner added that he wasn't too concerned about Porter missing time because of his familiarity with the offense. We'll continue to monitor Porter's status.
