Courtney Anderson starter at TE in Oakland

Got an email update from a pay site that said Turner has given the nod to Anderson over Johnson... For what little it is worth.

Between Moss, Porter and Jordan, are there any touches left for the TE in Oakland?

I drafted him in a league or two last year... didn't really work out then. The guy is huge though - 6'7" and about 275 lbs... might make a nice redzone target (assuming Moss, Porter, and Jordan aren't scoring 'em).

Thanks for the update! I actually figured Oakland would go with a receiving, vertical threat in Johnson....

What do I know?

Thanks!

The Oakland TE position the past couple years has been nothing more than the Jessica Simpson of fantasy TEs, a busty tease. That being said, I think with Moss/Porter/Jordan in town now, there should be more than ample opportunity for the TE slot there and I do think that Anderson is very well suited for that system.

I dont know much about Anderson, but Im willing to bet he is a better blocker than reciever. That would make a lot of sence for OAK - they dont need more weapons - just protect the QB.

Potential TD vulture ala Bubba Franks. BUT I don't recall Norv going to his TD much in the redzone...not even when he had Jay Novacek.

DEEP sleeper only.
