Staind's new album "Chapter V"

Just wondering if there are any fellow Staind fans in the forum. The album comes out tonight at midnight. I can't wait to sit down and listen and read the lyrics.

EDIT: Anyhow, Aaron Lewis still has an awesome voice. He did a good job on Linkin Park's Krwling...

i got your back bag-o....i am a fan of staind...and really liked 14 shades of grey, as well as their other stuff.

didnt know they were releasing a new album (dont really follow that stuff anymore). ill have to get it for sure

Its more like anything after Dysfunction.

But, I gotta give them some props b/c Aaron Lewis does have a great voice. He just needs to bring back some hard stuff like on Tormented and Dysfunction. Add like 3-4 slower songs and you would have a great album! Hopefully Chapter V does that!

I haven't really ever listened to an entire StainD (do they still do the capital "d" thing?) CD... I know I've got "Break the Cycle" in my collection somewhere. I did dig that Aaron Lewis/Fred Durst version of "Outside" - and I really can't remember much else they've done. I'll have to play that CD and figure out why I had my buddy burn me a copy.

Staind totally rocks! I've been waiting for months for that CD. Hopefully the tour will come my way.......

My respect for Deluxe just went up - even though he's a Ravens fan he appreciates good music.

Don't get your hopes up. I've listened to the full album now. I would say this is probably the "slowest" album they've had so far. There are a couple of really good "hard" songs, but there are more "slow" songs than "hard" ones. Which is kind of disappointing. I like the slow songs (especially "everything changes"), but I wish they would have had some more hard ones too.
