Get TiVo, and then you'll really wonder how you could live without it.
Anyone actually get burn in? I've had mine for over a year now and am pretty cautious about leaving static images on the screen.
From what I have heard that is more a problem with plasma tvs. Since I have 2 little kids that like to pause dvds I went with the LCD which I hear doesn't have that problem.
