Agreed. I'm a very good typist, but was once using an old computer at my school with no markings and I made about a hundred typos...my friend next to me thought I was a terrible typist.

But really, a keyboard's a keyboard...anyone who'd pay a lot of money for it to look cool is an idiot...I mean you're not supposed to be spending your life on it right ;-)

The Optimus keyboard is absolutely sick looking. I've been keeping an eye on it, and it looks like it's going to be some pretty serious $$$ when it's released.

Apparently you can even program the keys to randomly change the images that they display.

Having a set of programmable images for different games and software would be amazingly helpful. You could label hotkeys or action keys on the fly so you'd never need to look at those obnoxious shortcut lists or keypad layouts again...

on top of that, nobody born before 1975 would be able to figure out how to type on them... Sorry Lush! ;-7

I'd be able to deal with that... It'd be a little tough making the symbols on the numbers like "!@#$%^&*()" 'cause I don't have those memorized, but everything else would be the same for me.

Amen to that.. I'd be ok with the normal typing part but when it came to special characters, I'd be SOL

Please God no - it's hard enough deciphering the works of half the posters here as it is without giving them yet another excuse for their typos... :-o

My senior year of HS I had most of my credits taken care of, so I chose a bunch of 'gimmie' classes.

Computers
Keyboarding
Office Practice

I learned to type like a demon, but my forearms haven't been that sore until I got my subscription to playboy!
