to really go out on a limb, why not KEVIN JONES??
why no one has Kevin Jones in the top 10 of the RB list is puzzling to me...
I wish all those people were in my leagues for sure!!
the guy only led the league in rushing over the final 1/2 of 2004..
they picked up Mike Milliams and Marcus Pollard..now exactly HOW is a defense supposed to cover ALL 4 players ( Roy and Mike Williams, Rogers, Pollard) AND account for Kevin Jones????
WARNING: BIGTIME season ahead..draft accordingly.
oh yeah, BTW Detroit plays a cakewalk sked v. run...
Im not ready to put him that high - but the kid is special. Anyone that watched him toward the end of last yr knows this - he was hitting 5+YPC against 8-9 in the box. Scary good. Almost never gets tackled for a loss, and is elusive in tight spaces.
The big knock against him is the TDs. Even though he wont lose goalline carries per say - with 4 other endzone threats on the roster it could be difficult to put up elite TDs. The yards will be elite though - no doubt.
Also Tanner - DET actually faces a very difficult schedule: CHIx2, MINx2, BAL, PIT, CIN, CAR, ATL, TB...
With CHI and MIN improving defensively this offseason thats not a favorable schedule. Considering last yr they faced the AFC South (TEN, IND, HOU, JAX) - this yr will be a stark contrast.
