Edge, hit or miss this year?

Postby sikoskul » Mon Aug 25, 2003 1:25 pm

For some reason, in all of my mock drafts, I haven't had the opportunity to draft Edge or to even look at him as a pick. Karma bit and I was standing face to face with him in my money draft, and got him with the ninth pick in a 12 team league. It was a pretty smart draft with 18 of the top 19 picks being rb's, so I felt lucky getting him that late. What I need right now is some support for "shoppers remorse", did I do the right thing? The backs that were available after were: Jamal Lewis, A Green, C Garner and E George, S Davis.

Side note: I picked up W Green w/ my second pick.

From all the reports I have read, James is back to his old form and even worked out hard in the offseason. I expect him to be very close to a top 5 RB this year.

He looked good against Denver last night:

7 carries, 38 yards, 5.4 yards/carry (without really breaking off any long runs that would inflate the average).
