Stokley's kinda banged up, and pollard's gone. Do you guys think that marvin will conistently get the ball, or will it just be kinda hit or miss like last year. Where do you guys rank him?
you were way down on him last year CB and he finished 4th behind Moss/TO/MM. This year though I completely agree with you because he would have had a down year last year if it was not for all the TD's he caught with Manning going nuts. His receptions and yardage were down last year as he has seemed lost the ability to be a deep threat.
last yr I predicted less than 1200 yds for Marv - I just didnt see the TDs. basically I was half right. This yr I maintain my yardage stance, and am comfortable predicting a drop in TDs considering I do not think Manning will approach the TD totals he had last yr.
If anything, Marvin is consistant. He will get his catches and 1100-1200 yards and 10+ tds. He is now seemingly the underneath guy while Wayne / Stokeley are the deep threats in that offense. The Indy offense is a machine and all 3 wrs will get looks and each wr will have their days where they go big.
In our league last year marvin was outscored by Wayne for the season.
That's the thing, I don't think Marvin will be the highest scoring WR on his team this year, let alone outscoring some of the other #1's in the league. But he's still in the top 7 at worst, imo.
