Who has the single season record for tackles?

I got in an argument with a few of my buds this weekend. They told me Urlacher, Zach Thomas and Brookings all had at least 200 tackles last year. It was easy to prove them wrong on that, but who does have the record?

Solo tackles is a tough catagory to guage. It seems every stats compiler has a different definition of what constitues a solo tackle, therefore you get different numbers depending on where you look.
