Agents: Pollack in fold

BY GEOFF HOBSON
David Pollack and the Bengals ended their 19-day stalemate Wednesday when he signed a five-year deal that can be worth up to $13 million, one of his agents said. IMG, the office of Pollack's agents, reported the guaranteed money as $7.65 million.

he will be with the team immediately and will be at the 2nd preseason game against the Skins. About friggin' time. Hope he's a quick learner and has been working out during this time.

Yeah.. it IS about time. This was starting to get ridiculous. I'm glad they got him signed and can get him out on the field for a few weeks. Who dey!

My God this has been brutal. He missed so much friggin camp over a couple hundred in guarantees. I honestly hope Marvin doesnt let him start for a few game to grind it in his head that 1st rd picks dont get special treatment.

Although he still should play him a lot, just dont let him start :-b

i heard the press conference live on the air, and there's no doubt that marvin is still driving the bus. no worries, there. if pollack is able to get in game shape over the next few weeks, there's no reason to keep him from getting in-game action, obviously. i'm sure marvin will run him 'til he pukes this week and next, at least. oh, to be a fly on the wall when he and kevin coyle map out their plan to integrate pollack!

we have to look at this as good news, and i think that, although the holdout has been unfortunate, all parties have dealt with it in the most professional manner possible.

pollack's a smart guy....he'll have no trouble getting the playbook....and if he's in game shape, and shows that he deserves to start week 1....i see no problem with it......about time though.....
