How does it work, and is there a way to tell who has the top priority?

It depends on the order of your draft. In a 10-team league, the player who picks 10th has the highest waiver priority and the player who picked first has the last priority. Once a player uses up his waiver priority (doesn't include FA's) he moves to the back of the line, in this case #10, and everyone else moves up.

you know, I am not so sure it is that simple. I was behind a guy and we both put in a claim for darryl jackson. he got him,. and he is still ahead of me. I think making a claim ahs something to do witht he process. I think you only move up if you don;t make a claim.
