LOS ANGELES -- Former NFL running back Lawrence Phillips, who was wanted by police on domestic-violence charges, was arrested Sunday after allegedly running his car into three teenagers who argued with him during a pickup football game, police said.

Police had been seeking Phillips since he allegedly attacked his girlfriend twice this month, once choking her into unconsciousness.

Phillips joined a group of 16- and 17-year-olds in a pickup football game Sunday and got into an argument with several of them, Los Angeles police officer Sandra Escalante said. He left the park, then returned and drove a black Honda onto the field, allegedly running into three boys, she said. The teenagers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

This guy really needs to be put away. Beating his GF twice this month, once choking her unconscious. Then he tries to run a bunch of kids over after more than likely getting schooled in a pickup football game.

He tried to run them over in a Honda? LMAO!!! The loser couldnt even pick a car that would actually do some damage if you are hit by it!

Put this waste of a life away for a long time.
