Brushes

I just downloaded a set of grunge brushes, and i am not sure how to access them on photoshop, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.I put it in with brushes when i open my comp., and go to program files, then photoshop5.5, and then whatever, and then brushes, and i put it in there, and it dont show up in the brushes on the right side of my screen.

hey im not really a photoshop expert like you guys or anything but i have elements 3.0 and when you click on the brush tool right click your image and to the right of the brushes there is a little arrow from the arrow click on load brushes then just select your brushes from your computer

1. I save it to desktop
2. Go to the brush section on the top right corner
3. Then click the arrow pointing down and go to load brushes
4. Just click on the .abr file and you have them

thx for the help guys, but apparently those brushes arent compatible with my Version of photoshop, anybody know where i can get some brushes for Version 5.5?
