Collins Worth A Damn?

Let's focus on game 1 though. So far everyone is saying his "overall" value will be good, but what about game to game? personally, I think he's going to be a "matchup" QB. Just like previous years, he'll only perform well against weak D's. Against a D like NE, I think he'll have more INTs than TDs.

Does anyone actually have the guts to play him week 1???? I don't think I have the stomach for it.

Hmmm, I'm liking him more the more I think about it. I'm hoping he drops to me in the 5th in my 16 team league. The Raiders will be throwing the ball a lot this year. My only worry is health, but I worry about that with every QB.

I drafted Collins in the 8th rounds and Brees in the 13th round of my draft, I will start whoever has the better matchup! Collins is on the bench the first week though, lol

I dont have Collins but would have no trouble starting him. In fact I would start him over the likes of other starters like Brooks, Brady, etc just because I feel hes got more upside and a better chance at having multi TD games.

I'm planning on him being my starter for most of the year, but in week 1 he's sitting for Jake Delhomme (who plays the Saints). I don't think he'll be matchup-proof this year (although few QBs are).
